Creative Brief: Film predatory birds in slow motion
I like predatory animals – they’re great. In the late 2010’s, Anna started working at a local predatory bird and falconry centre.
Great horned owls, barn owls, badass Russian type things – I won’t pretend to know all the different species and their characteristics.
What I do know is that they’re all stunning creatures, which inspired me to borrow a Sony FS700 camera from work and shoot some footage of them in slow motion.
This was ultimately done as a favour to the centre to say thanks for Anna’s opportunity. But I really grew quite fond of many of these winged beasties, so have kept the video and photos here as a permanent reminder.
