The Iron Star

Quake 4's multiplayer community was dieing quickly.
This was an attempt to rescue it.
We failed.

Brief:

Quake 4's multiplayer community died before it really got off the ground, a shame for such a lineage. Doom3Maps asked for the community to contribute maps in an attempt to revitalise it.

Approach:

My goal was to combine the old school 'floating' maps of Quake 3 Arena (such as the longest yard) with the hellish, industrial nightmare art direction of the more recent title.
